Consultant/Facilitator/Coach, Antenore & Associates
Angela Antenore provides facilitation, training, mediation and consulting services. In an effort to amplify and accelerate social and environmental justice, she works with clients to assist them in meeting their business goals by leveraging the diverse skills, talents and experiences of their teams.
Angela develops and maintains relationships across various sectors to incorporate the different roles each can bring to collaborative efforts. Working with stakeholders, executives, policy makers, funders, business owners, non-profit leaders and community members, she is particularly interested in how people and organizations can use their potential to best serve the needs of their organization and multi-cultural communities.
A skilled facilitator and instructor with over 25 years experience, Angela holds a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA. Angela combines her background in education, psychology and business to pursue leadership and organizational effectiveness strategies with her clients. She has a unique background including both international consulting experience as well as hands-on experience as a director, manager, small business owner, and educator. In these roles, Angela continues to learn and deepen a human-centered approach to practicing inclusion, engagement and leadership.
Focus areas include diversity/inclusion, inter-cultural communication, cultural competency, organizational development, leadership engagement and development, strategy/planning, emotional intelligence, mediation/conflict management, team building and dynamics, performance coaching and cross-sector collaborations (e.g., homelessness, HIV/AIDS, older adults, public health, etc.)
She serves as a consultant to non-profits/NGO's, public sector organizations (including counties, cities, elected officials, state and federal agencies), corporations, private and public funders, start-up entities and academic institutions. She has also served on teams to successfully implement private, local, state, and federal grants.
Angela volunteers in her community with a variety of governing boards and foundations with an emphasis on human services and social and environmental justice.
Angela is curious, always learning and energized by listening to and sharing ideas and experiences. She enjoys collaborating and seeks out expanding our network of social justice allies.
