Cynthia Azali-Rojas, CPC is a certified professional coach, facilitator and organizational development consultant. Cynthia is passionate about incorporating a nuanced and bold analysis of racism and patriarchy in all our social justice work including in supervisions structures, staff retreats, coalition building, leadership development and one-on-one coaching.

Cynthia began her social justice work as a civil rights, public health and climate justice organizer in Los Angeles. As a lead organizer, she worked with immigrant, Latino, Black, Korean, youth and working class bus riders. She has co-led a community organizing training program, taught ESL in LA’s public school system and coordinated projects including a coalition of South LA nonprofits and a voter registration drive for the Native American community in California.

Her current work focuses supporting nonprofit and working class leaders as a life coach; organizational development consulting; and coach training. Most recently Cynthia helped deliver a bilingual (English/Spanish) coach training workshop to nonprofit leaders who are part of The California Endowment’s Building Healthy Communities coalition.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas in a poor Mexican household, Cynthia values the resilience of the multi-national working class. She is a graduate of Stanford University’s Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity and lives in Los Angeles with her partner in life, Damon, and their two beautiful sons, Maceo (9) and Fasola (3).
