After three very successful Art of Transformational Consulting trainings over the past year and a half, we are eagerly anticipating our first Community of Practice gathering for alumnae/i of the program.
The Art of Transformational Consulting is an intensive five-day workshop for organizational development consultants who serve progressive social change organizations.
Even after the most positive and productive training or retreat, the enhanced focus, energy, and creativity it generated do not last forever. Community of Practice gatherings will be a way for this network of practitioners to keep learning, growing, and connecting after the training is over.
The first gathering will be held on October 29, 2014 from 7 – 9pm and October 30 from 9am – 5pm, with an optional dinner following, at Preservation Park in Oakland, CA. Twenty-five people have already RSVP’d. The purpose of the gathering is for ATC alums to:
- Share and deepen their learning as they further integrate transformative principles and practices into their work.
- Support their ongoing development as powerful change agents.
- Deepen professional relationships and strengthen the field of OD practitioners.
This is the first of two Community of Practice gatherings. The second gathering will be held in Spring 2015 on the East Coast and will build off of the first. Alums are welcome and encouraged to attend both events if possible. Depending on the feedback we get after these gatherings, we may hold more in the future.
We are very excited to continue to work with the growing network of ATC alums supporting our movements for a more just and sustainable world.
If you are an ATC alum and you would like to attend the October gathering, please RSVP via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are interested in attending the Art of Transformational Consulting, the next training is December 2-7, 2014 in Washington, D.C.
